Farm Volunteer application

Lucky Lemon Farm is looking for dedicated volunteers to help care for our growing family of animals. From feeding and cleaning to enriching the lives of our animals, our volunteers play an important role in creating a safe, happy, and enriching environment for both our animals and the children who visit the farm.

Whether you're an middle or high school student, homeschool student, agriculture student, or family looking to volunteer together, we'd love to meet you!

We're currently looking for volunteers for:

- Morning Shifts (8am-10am)
- Midday Shifts (12pm-2pm)
- Evening Shifts (6pm-8pm)

- Weekdays and Weekends Available

You can volunteer by choosing...

- Weekly Permanent Shift: Commit to the same day and time each week.

- Substitute Volunteer: Join our substitute list and fill in when permanent volunteers are unavailable.

Volunteer responsibilities include:

- Feeding and watering animals
- Cleaning animal enclosures
- Assisting with daily farm chores
- Preparing enrichment activities
- Grooming and socializing animals
- Helping maintain a clean and welcoming farm environment
- Learning about the unique needs of each animal

No previous farm experience is required—we'll teach you everything you need to know!

Volunteer Requirements
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physical activity
- Willingness to work outdoors in Florida weather
- Commitment to providing excellent care for our animals
- Ability to follow farm procedures and safety guidelines

- Good at problem solving and communicating
