Girls & Boys With Confidence is looking for a Marketing & Social Media Manager to enthusiastically lead our marketing efforts.  We are looking for people who have a passion for empowering youth and believe in our mission of building confidence & character in boys & girls.


Our Marketing & Social Media Manager will be responsible for identifying opportunities to conduct our workshops with local schools or organizations in the Tampa Bay area. They will help promote Girls & Boys With Confidence through various marketing efforts that include a marketing email program, marketing flyer creation, production and delivery and face-to-face promotion at community events. In addition, this position will work hand in hand with our social media specialist by executing graphic designs and content on all our social media platforms.  


Applicants MUST have marketing and social media experience and MUST be willing to work with our Marketing & Social Media Specialist and be willing to share your experience and knowledge while guiding and mentoring their growth in this area.  PLEASE don't apply unless you meet these requirements and understand this is not the role for you if you are in need of a certain number of hours or income.


ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES:

  • Create marketing campaigns using Constant Contact
  • Communicate with our database on upcoming events with the goal to increase event attendance
  • Assist with special events to promote Girls & Boys With Confidence and increase future class attendance (open houses, school events/fairs, table set-up outside retail areas with approval, etc.)
  • Identify potential schools, groups, organizations, etc. where our workshops, camps and events can be offered
  • Working with the Social Media Specialist, create marketing flyers for printing and email communication
  • Assist GWC in any additional marketing efforts that arise
  • Help distribute flyers at different venues and events
  • Demonstrate excellent presentation skills - dynamic, energetic, and engaging
  • Must be high energy and enthusiastic
  • Prepare, setup, breakdown of each workshop
  • Foster diversity by understanding, respecting, and embracing differences

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be available to work at our center the majority of the work week
  • Associate or Bachelors Degree (not a requirement but preferred)
  • Have a strong understanding of Girls & Boys With Confidence’s vision and goals
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication, strong editing skills
  • Represent Girls With Confidence professionally and have outstanding customer service skills
  • Be creative with an eye for design
  • Strong knowledge Social Media platforms, features and algorithms
  • Ability to develop a detailed and professional marketing plan
  • Knowledge of editing software – to edit movies, pictures, etc.
  • Should be open-minded, a fast learner, enthusiastic and adaptable


Part-time: Pay is based on experience, ranges from $15/hr.- $25/hr.
