Camp Descriptions

Cool Confidence Camp

The confident You camp

This Christian based camp is another favorite for our girls.  Every day we focus on a new theme where we have discussions, activities, indoor & outdoor games and then work on a creative art project.  In this camp, we will focus on the following topics/themes:

Girls With Faith

On this first day of camp, we discuss the importance of having a strong faith in God and believing Jesus Christ is the son of God.  We share that Girls With Faith will have a strong foundation to deal with challenges that come their way, whether it's dealing with a friendship or losing someone close to you in your life, turning to God will help us and in the end makes us more confident and secure.  We give the girls ideas on building their faith such as prayer, scripture, reading the Bible, etc.  We share examples of women (& men) that have a strong relationship with God.

Positive Mind & Attitude

We focus on the importance of having a positive attitude always.  The girls learn that they are in control of what they think and how they feel.  No one makes us feel a certain way, it's a choice we make on our own.  We discuss the importance of how our attitude (good or bad) can impact our confidence and our goal is to feel good about ourselves every day.

My Family

This is a fun topic for the girls to share how their family is important to them and how each family member can impact their self-confidence. Girls love sharing how their families are different and unique and what they love about their families.

This camp is another favorite for our girls.   In this camp, each girl will be given a scrapbook and they will create their own confidence scrapbook throughout the camp. Every day we focus on a new theme where we have discussions, activities, games and then work on their scrapbook pages to develop a lifetime keepsake.  Here are the topics we will focus on:

We will discuss how attitude impacts their self-esteem and the importance of positive self-talk.

GIVING BACK CAMP

We are excited to offer this popular Christian-based camp again this Summer.  Since "Giving Back" is one of the core values we teach the girls, why not have a camp where we get to practice it.  Like our other camps, each day we will cover a different topic and follow the same format with group discussions, activities, indoor & outdoor games and then work on a creative art project.

In addition, we will honor a local organization or charity each day by asking the participants to share a donation they may be in need of (ie. A Kid's Place may need sheets for their house parents or The Spring of Tampa Bay may need toiletries for the women in their shelter).  Donations are not required but appreciated.  In addition, we will have the girls do one creative art project each day that they will give to someone else.  We know your girls will want to go home with some fun crafts and art work, so no worries, we will have lots of fun creative art projects and activities in this rewarding camp for your girls.
